# Claude

Virtual Mail is available as a connector in **Claude**. Install it from the
Claude connectors directory to manage your virtual mailbox directly in a
conversation. You don't need to configure a server URL or generate an API key.
Once connected, it works everywhere you use Claude: on the web, desktop, and
mobile.

## Install the connector

1. Open the [Virtual Mail connector listing](https://claude.ai/directory/lz-virtual-mail)
   in Claude, or search for
   **Virtual Mail** in the Claude connectors directory.
2. Click **Connect**.
3. Sign in to LegalZoom when prompted and approve the access Claude requests.
4. Start a new conversation and ask about your mail, for example: _"What arrived
   in my mailbox this week?"_

The connector uses the same OAuth sign-in described in
[Authentication](https://reference.earthclassmail.com/_llms_txt/v2/mcp.md#authentication). It can only reach the mailboxes your
LegalZoom account already has access to.

> **Staying connected**
>
> Claude asks you to sign in to LegalZoom again at least every 30 days, even if
> you use Virtual Mail daily. See

## What you can do

The Claude connector gives you the same capabilities as any other MCP client.
You can find and read mail, organize your inbox, request scans and shreds, and

> **Caution**
>
> Some actions, such as shredding, can't be undone once carried out. A pending
> shred can be cancelled within the 7-day grace period. Review what Claude is about
> to do before you approve an action that changes your mailbox.

## Disconnect

To remove access, disconnect Virtual Mail from your connector settings in
Claude.
